The Patriots signed E.J. Biggers to their roster on March 29.
Terms: 1 year, $840,000
Signing bonus: $25,000
Base salary: $760,000
Split salary: $428,000. This is the salary that Biggers will earn if placed on Injured Reserve.
Roster bonus: $30,000 $1,875 46-man active roster bonus is LTBE for 16 games.
Reporting bonus: $25,000. Biggers earns this bonus merely showing up to training camp.
Salary cap charge: $680,000
August 27, 2016 update - E.J. Biggers was released on August 23rd.
A long-time family friend, my youngest sister's best friend, is on the board of directors of a soup kitchen and food pantry in Malden, Massachusetts that provided in 2015 the equivalent of 1,030,000 meals to hungry, homeless and isolated people.
