Tyler Gaffney was claimed on waivers on July 28, 2014.

April 21, 2016 update Tyler Gaffney was waived by the Patriots on April 11th. He was then re-signed on April 14th. New deal was for one-year with a $450,000 salary instead of a $600,000 salary.
September 3, 2016 update Tyler Gaffney was placed on IR on September 3rd. He was waived from IR on September 9th. Gaffney reached an injury settlement that covered 3 games.
