|When I don't know the date when a roster bonus is due I presume it to have been due on March 12, 2013. I presume that the Patriots will pick up the player's 2013 option bonus so I include the option bonus proration in the total cap amount but until March 12 I do not include the option bonus in the Remaining Signing Bonus amount.|

September 16, 2013 update ESPNBoston's Mike Reiss reported on March 21, 2012 that "Breaking down the main elements of contracts for receiver Brandon Lloyd, offensive lineman Dan Connolly, defensive lineman Jonathan Fanene and tight end Daniel Fells, while analyzing what the numbers represent:
September 16, 2013 update The Boston Globe' Ben Volin reported on May 26, 2013 that "The biggest dead weight, though, is Brandon Lloyd, who will count $3.5 million against the cap this year. But his dead money comes with an asterisk - the Patriots are taking on an extra $1.5 million this year from Lloyd's option bonus, and will be given a $1.5 million credit in 2014"
